Ingredients
1/2 cup moong beans, 1/2 cup pomegranate seeds, 1/2 cup apple or pear, 1/4 cup cucumber, 1/4 cup tomatoes, 1 tbsp coriander leaves, 1 tbsp lemon juice, 1-2 green chillies (optional), 1/2 tsp roasted cumin powder, Salt to taste, 1/4 tsp black pepper, 1-2 tbsp tamarind chutney, handful puffed rice
Prepare the Ingredients
Wash and drain sprouted moong beans. Chop fruits (apple/pear), veggies (cucumber, tomatoes), and green chillies (optional).
Mix the Base Ingredients
In a bowl, combine the sprouted moong with chopped fruits, veggies, and pomegranate seeds. Toss everything lightly to mix well.
Add Flavors
Sprinkle some roasted cumin powder and black pepper, and season with some salt. Stir in some chopped coriander leaves to seal the freshness.
Toss in the Dressing
Add lemon juice along with optional tamarind chutney with a nice stir to coat the various ingredients with the dressing.
Serve & Enjoy
Just before serving, add in the puffed rice for extra crunch. Enjoy the fresh and wholesome bhel immediately.
