Ingredients
One cup besan, one cup fresh methi leaves, one small onion, one tomato, 1-2 green chillies, one-fourth teaspoon turmeric powder, half a teaspoon cumin powder, Salt, Water, and Oil.
Prepare the Ingredients
Chop fresh methi leaves, onions, tomatoes, and green chillies. Gather besan, spices, and water for the batter.
Make the Batter
In a container, mix besan, methi leaves, onions, tomatoes, green chillies, spices, and water, stirring until smooth.
Heat the Pan
Take a non-stick pan or tawa on medium heat. Lightly grease with oil or ghee for cooking.
Put the Batter
Once the pan is hot, put a ladle of batter onto it. Spread it evenly into a circle so that it will be easy to flip.
Cook on Low
Flame Let the chilla cook for 2-3 minutes until the edges turn golden. Flip and cook the other side.
Serve Hot
Serve the methi chilla immediately with green chutney, yoghurt, or your favourite pickle for a nutritious snack.
