Ingredients
400 gm seedless dates, 100 gm almonds, 100 gm cashews, 100 gm walnuts, 100 gm raisins, 100 gm grated coconut, 30 gm poppy seeds, and one tablespoon of ghee
Roast coconut
Take grated coconut and dry roast it in a pan. Roast it until it turns golden brown.
Roast dry fruits
Take the same pan and add chopped almonds, cashews, walnuts, raisins, and poppy seeds. Roast them in one tablespoon of ghee over low heat.
Grind dates
Take seedless dates and blend in a mixer to form a smooth paste. Now, roast the paste in ghee for 2-3 minutes on a low flame.
Combine ingredients
Now, add roasted dry fruits, coconut, and dates to the pan. Combine them thoroughly to form a smooth dough.
Shape modaks
Let the mixture cool for sometime. Now, grease modak moulds with ghee and start shaping modaks.
