Ingredients
1-2 thick slices of bread, two tablespoons of butter, two teaspoons of sugar, 4-5 tablespoons of milk, two cups of milk, two tablespoons of custard powder, one-fourth cup of water, 3-4 tablespoons of sugar, and half a cup of mango puree.
Boil milk
Take a saucepan and add milk with sugar and custard powder. Let it simmer on a low flame and whisk it continuously to avoid lumps.
Prepare custard
Add mango puree to the pan and let it simmer for 5-7 minutes on a low flame. Cook it until it starts to thicken.
Toast bread
Add butter to a pan and fry the bread slice on both sides. Cook it until it is golden brown and crispy.
Cramalise bread
Now, add sugar and milk to the bread and let it soak. Cook it until the sugar is caramelised and the toast is soft.
Assemble french toast
Spread mango custard on a plate and add toast over it. Top it off with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and mango chunks.
