Easy Banana Idli Recipe For Sunday Breakfast

Ingredients

Two cups of banana, one cup of semolina (rava), one-fourth cup of grated coconut, half a cup of curd, one-fourth of jaggery, a pinch of salt, water as required, two tablespoons of ghee, and one-fourth teaspoon of baking powder.

Mash bananas

Start by peeling the bananas. Take a bowl and add the bananas, and mash them with a fork until nice and smooth.

Prepare batter

Now, add rava, grated coconut, jaggery, and a pinch of salt to the mashed bananas. Mix it using water to get a smooth batter.

Steam idlis

Add the Idli batter to the Idli greased with butter. Pour the idli batter into the tray and steam for 10-15 minutes.

Serve idlis

Remove the idlis from the steamer and let the idlis cool down. Serve them sambhar and coconut chutney on the side.
