Take curd

Take thick, creamy curd (hung curd or chakka) and whip it to a smooth, light, and creamy mixture.

Add mango

Add mango pulp, powdered sugar, and cardamom powder to the whipped cream and pour saffron milk.

Add saffron

To make saffron milk, soak a few saffron strands in two tablespoons of warm milk in advance.

Whisk together

Whisk together well so that the sugar dissolves, and add chopped almonds. You have to chop pistachios for flavour and a bit of crunch.

Serve

Gently mix the mixture and transfer it to a bowl. Mango shrikhand can be served immediately or refrigerated and served chilled.
