Ingredients
8-10 fresh plums, half cup castor sugar, salt, crumble, one and a half maida, half cup brown sugar, two tsp castor sugar, one tsp cinnamon powder, one-fourth tsp nutmeg powder, half cup butter

Half cup milk, one tsp vinegar, half cup butter, one fourth cup oil, one and one-fourth cup condensed milk, one and a half maida, one tsp baking powder, half tsp baking soda, two tsp vanilla essence.
Make the Plum Compote
Wash and chop the plums. Cook together with castor sugar and salt, stirring until the plums reduce down to form a thick compote.
Prepare the Crumble Topping
Mix maida, brown sugar, castor sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and butter. Rub together until the mixture forms a coarse, crumbly texture then set aside.
Prepare the Cake Batter
Sift Maida, baking powder, and baking soda. Mix butter, oil, condensed milk, milk, vinegar, and vanilla. Form a homogenous batter by mixing all the ingredients well.
Preheat Oven
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) for 10 minutes. Ensuring it reaches the right temperature for even baking.
Assemble the Cake
Grease the cake tin, pour half the batter, layer a plum compote, top with the rest of the batter, and crumb topping.
Bake and Serve
Put the cake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 35-40 minutes. Cool down and remove from the tin. Serve warm.
