Delicious Bread Chilla Recipe For Lazy Sunday Morning

Besan bread chilla is the perfect go-to snack for busy mornings. It is easy to make and light on the stomach. Tap to read the recipe.

Ingredients

Half a cup of besan, one-fourth cup of rice flour, two tablespoons of chopped onion, two tablespoons of carrots, a teaspoon of red chilli powder, salt and pepper to taste, and 2-4 bread slices.

Prepare batter

Take a bowl and add besan, rice flour, red chilli powder, black pepper and salt. Stir it well to combine.

Add vegetables and water

Now, add chopped onion, tomato and carrots with water. Stir the ingredients and adjust the batter to make a thick batter.

Soak bread

Now, take each piece of bread, cover and soak the bread with batter on both sides. Heat oil in a pan.

Toast bread

Now, add the soaked bread and cook bread until golden and crispy on both sides. Serve it hot with ketchup and mint chutney.
