Crispy Potato Cheese Balls Recipe For Monsoon Evening Snack

Ingredients

4-5 boiled potatoes, half a cup of grated and chopped (onion, carrots and coriander leaves), half a tablespoon of chopped green chilli, salt to taste, red chilli powder, breadcrumbs, oil for frying, and one-third cup of grated cheese.

Combine potatoes and spices

Take a big bowl and add mashed potatoes, chopped onion, carrots, coriander leaves, salt, pepper and green chillies. Mix it well together.

Prepare cheese balls

Now, separate the dough and make small balls out of it. Flatten each ball and add a small piece of cheese inside it. Now roll it again into a ball.

Coat breadcrumbs

Take a bowl and combine corn flour, besan, water and salt. Dip each ball in this and coat with breadcrumbs to bind. Refrigerate it for 10-15 minutes.

Fry

Take a pan and heat some oil over a medium flame. Now, place each ball in it and fry until golden brown and crispy.

Serve

Place the cheese balls on paper towels to drain excess oil. Serve it hot with mint chutney or ketchup on the side.
