Ingredients

8-10 kokum petals, one cup of dry coconut, dry chilli, 1-2 cloves of garlic, a pinch of cumin powder, coriander leaves (chopped), kaccha hing, salt, amchur water, half a cup of water.

Soak kokum

Take half a cup of water and soak kokum in it overnight. You can also soak it for 30 minutes to release a tangy flavour.

Extract coconut milk

Blend grated coconut pieces with coconut water, dry red chilli, and garlic into a smooth mixture. Strain and squeeze to extract creamy milk.

Combine the ingredients

Now, take the extracted coconut milk and add kokum extract to this. Stir it well to combine. Adjust the consistency of the water if required.

Season the sol kadhi

Add salt, hing, and cumin powder to this and mix it well. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve it chilled.
