Ingredients
One cup of curd, half a grated cucumber, half a teaspoon of roasted cumin powder, one-fourth teaspoon of red chilli powder, a pinch of sugar, salt to taste, half a cup of roasted makhana (fox nuts), two tablespoons of pomegranate seeds, chopped coriander & fresh mint leaves.
Roast Makhana
Dry roast makhanas and peanuts in a pan on a low heat. Toss them until they are golden and crunchy.
Prepare curd
Take a bowl of curd and whisk it until smooth. Add red chilli powder, salt, and cumin powder. Mix it well.
Add other ingredients
Now, add grated cucumbers, chopped mint leaves and chopped coriander leaves to the curd bowl. Give it a good mix
Garnish
Now, add the roasted makhanas to the bowl. Combine them well and garnish with some pomegranate seeds.
Serve
Transfer all this into a bowl and serve this chilled as a snack. You can also pair makhana raita with rice or roti.
