Ingredients
5-6 guavas cubed, a teaspoon salt, a teaspoon ground cumin, half a teaspoon of chilli powder, half a lemon juice, two teaspoons of cilantro, a teaspoon of honey, one cup finely chopped onion, one finely chopped cucumber, few coriander leaves, one large finely chopped tomato, 1-2 finely chopped green chillies, and half a teaspoon crushed oregano.
Prepare guava
Start by thoroughly washing and peeling guavas. Cut the guava into chunky cubes. Avoid using canned guava for this.
Cut vegetables
Now, finely chop onions, tomatoes, cucumber, green chillies, and coriander leaves. Add them to a mixing bowl.
Combine spices
Mix lime juice and honey together. Mix salt and red chilli powder. Add this powder to sliced guava.
Assemble the salsa
Take a big mixing bowl and add cubed guava, chopped vegetables, and spice mix. Toss it well to combine everything.
Garnish and serve
Garnish the salsa with cilantro and squeeze half a lemon juice. Pair this with chips, tacos, and nachos.
