Ingredients

One pineapple, half cup hung yoghurt, 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste, two tsp red chilli powder, one tsp garam masala, half cumin powder, half tsp coriander powder, one tsp chaat masala, one tbsp lemon juice, oil, salt, turmeric powder, kasuri methi, cream/butter, skewers, fresh mint leaves, coriander.

Cut pineapple

You have to cut the pineapple into same-sized cubes to allow for even cooking and a consistent marinade is needed.

Marinate

Make a marinade with yoghurt, ginger-garlic paste, and a combination of tikka spices. Set the pineapple in the spiced yoghurt marinade for at least 30 minutes.

Preheat

When ready, thread the marinated pineapple pieces to the skewers, making sure they are tight on the skewers. Preheat your grill or oven to medium-high heat.

Brush pineapple

Grill or bake the pineapple skewers, turning occasionally until golden brown. Brush the pineapple with melted butter or oil while cooking for added flavour and moisture.

Serve
