One tbsp oil, one tsp ginger garlic, one tsp cumin powder, one tsp garam masala, one cup yam/suran, half cup daliya, one-fourth breadcrumbs, salt, two tbsp, one cup of cornflakes, oil, two burger buns, two tbsp mayonnaise, 5-6 lettuce leaves, one tomatoes.
Preparing the Mixture
Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds and garlic, sauté for about one minute, then mix in garam masala.
Adding Daliya and Suran
Add cooked daliya and mashed suran to the pan. Mix well. If the mixture feels too dry, add breadcrumbs to help bind it.
Forming the Tikkis
Take small portions of the mixture and shape them into medium-sized tikkis. Dip each one into crushed cornflakes for extra crunch.
Shallow Frying the Tikkis
Heat oil in a pan and shallow fry the tikkis on both sides until they turn golden brown and crispy.
