Ingredients

Half cup ghee, one and a half cups besan, two tbsp rava, two cups milk, half cup sugar, two tbsp saffron milk, two tbsp cashew, and one-fourth tsp cardamom powder.

Heat pan

Take a pan and heat the ghee. After the ghee gets hot add besan and rava. Stir it on low heat till it turns golden and aromatic.

Pour milk

Put milk slowly into the mixture of besan and rava, mixing it continuously to get a lump-free mixture. Cook it till the mixture thickens.

Add saffron milk

After that, add sugar and saffron milk to the thickened mixture. Stir it well till the sugar dissolves completely into the halwa.

Add cashew

Add cardamom powder and chopped cashews. Mix it well. Continue to cook till the halwa reaches a pudding-like consistency.

Serve it hot

Now, you will observe the halwa is thick and shiny, remove it from heat. Serve it hot and garnish it with additional cashews.
