Oily Scalp
Within 24 to 48 hours after shampooing and hair feels greasy. Hair will look flatter, limp, or clumpy at the root.
Dry Scalp
You might feel tight, itchy, or flaky. The flakes on your hair are noticed on the shoulders or irritation on the scalp.
Normal Scalp
Balanced oil production, no pagh or itchiness. The hair will grow slightly for a couple of days but will be neither oily nor dry.
Combination Scalp
Oily at the roots but dry or normal at the ends. This type is a bit tricky and requires specific care according to their needs.
Blotting Paper Test
Hold blotting paper against different parts of the scalp a few hours after washing. Oily areas show that it is oily or a combination.
