Strength comes with practise, so here are five exercises to put your strength to the test.
Deadlift
A man should be able to deadlift twice his body weight, while a woman should be able to lift 1.2 to 1.5 times her body weight.
Pull-ups
You are considered fit and strong if you can easily lift your bodyweight and perform pull-ups.
Push-ups
The push-up test entails performing push-ups for 60 seconds. If you can do more than 50 push-ups, you are considered extraordinary.
Squats
Men should be able to squat twice their body weight, while women should be able to lift equal to their body weight.
Bench Press
Men should be able to press their body weight, while women should lift 0.7 kg of their body weight.
