If you experience neck pain often, here are a few doctor approved exercises for you to try.
Lateral Neck Flexion
Lateral neck flexion involves slowly bending the neck from one side to the other. Feel the stretch and repeat at least five times.
Neck Flexion And Extension
In addition to lateral neck flexion, neck flexion and extension refers to bending the neck. Hold the position for a few seconds when you feel the stretch and repeat.
Neck Rotation
As the name suggests, rotate your head while looking back to the right. Hold the position and then turn again towards the left.
Head Raises
Place your feet flat on the ground and hands on each side. Slow move your chin closer to the chest, rest when you reach then go back and forth to stretch.
There are multiple ligaments and muscles that support the neck and head. Hence, do these exercises to make sure that they are not stiff for a proper and pain-free functioning.
