Ingredients
3-4 raw mangoes, one-fourth cup mint leaves, two cups of jaggery powder, two tablespoons of red chilli powder, one teaspoon of black salt, one teaspoon of salt, half a lemon, and powdered sugar.
Steam raw mango
Soak the raw mangoes for 10 minutes until they soften. Peel and cut the mangoes into small and thin slices or cubes.
Mash mango
Add diced raw mango pieces with mint leaves and water to a mixer. Grind it into a smooth mango pulp.
Add jaggery powder
Now, add the mango pulp, jaggery powder and water to the pan. Now, cook it until the jaggery powder melts.
Add spices
Stir it occasionally to avoid burning. Add red chilli powder and salt to the mixture and combine it well.
Add lemon juice
Squeeze half a lemon for a tangy taste. Cook it until it starts to thicken and transfer this to a baking tray lined with butter paper. Set it in the refrigerator.
Coat powdered sugar
After 40 minutes, cut the candies into small cubes and coat them with powdered sugar. Store this in an airtight container and enjoy.
