Parvatasana - Yoga For Stress Relief

Parvatasana is an important yoga practice for stress relief. For this yoga form, one needs to sit either in a cross-legged position or in padamasana pose. Take your right feet and place it on left thigh and vice-versa. Join your palms, close your eyes and inhale while raising your arms. Ascertain that elbows, spine and neck are erect. Exhale and return slowly to the starting position. Parvatasana renders several benefits, which include relaxation and strengthening of shoulder, back and neck muscles. It is advised to practise yoga form for 4 to 5 times in a single go.
