Chances of Getting Pregnant On Birth Control

There have been several cases of women getting pregnant even while talking contraceptive pills. The term 'birth control pill' encompasses various oral contraceptives. Copper T, an intra intrauterine device helps in suppressing the ovaries' monthly release of an egg cell while the birth control pills mostly thicken cervical mucus, inhibiting the sperm movement. Pregnancy can still take place if the Copper T gets misplaced inside the uterine cavity. Although quite effective, oral contraceptives may not always be perfectly effective at preventing pregnancy.
