We all know, losing weight is not a cakewalk and that too after battling some critical conditions like brain stroke, paralysis and trauma is a task. Most of the people give up and struggle to live a healthy life after a long battle against fatal health conditions. 
At the age of 14, Shikha suffered a full-body paralysis attack that turned her life upside down. After 6-8 months of hospitalisation, she even attempted suicide. After several months, her upper body started to respond but lower body was still paralysed. Due to taking steroid medications daily for over two years, she gained a lot of weight. Her life slowly got back on track and re-started studies. Slowly, her professional life began which gave her the due confidence that was lost.

Saloni weighed 85 kgs when she was just 15 years old. By the time she turned 17, she was diagnosed with hypertension and had to take medications for high blood pressure. Recollecting her past, 28-year-old Saloni from New Delhi shared how she was bullied for her weight. In this video, Saloni shares everything about how she lost about 50 kgs. 
Saloni was an obese child and her weight kept increasing with age to such an extent that she wouldn't find her fit in the kids section. Upon hypertension diagnosis, the doctor prescribed medicines that she took for over four years which led to her excessive weight gain. The turning point in her life was her father's transplantation surgery and at that moment, she decided to take up weight loss as a challenge to become a better version of herself. 
While pursuing her graduation, she decided to do a course in nutrition to motivate herself and help other people struggling with weight loss. She started incorporating her theoretical learnings to practise by adding nourishing foods to her diet and performing basic functional exercises at home. Within one and a half years, she lost almost 35 kilos. She continued the practice for three years and went from 86 kilos to 52 kilos. After a couple of years, she conceived and gained about 18 kilos during pregnancy. With her determination, she is back to 58 kilos within nine months of postpartum.
