The spine roll using the Pilates reformer - The spine roll is also known as the spine roll on the spine corrector. One must perform this exercise to open up the vertebras thereby lending elasticity to the spine. It also helps in strengthening one's core and according to Doctor Namita Agarwal; a solid core is the key to a good and healthy back. For beginners it is safe do this routine without using any prop and as one's proficiency on the spine corrector increases, one can use a ball to further challenge oneself! Remember never to tense your shoulder during this routine and also remember to breathe in and out thoroughly throughout the routine.
