What do you understand by Juvenile Diabetes?

Juvenile diabetes (also known as part 1 diabetes) is the case when the pancreas stops secreting insulin hormone resulting in a rise in the sugar level in the blood. This excess sugar fails to reach the other parts of the body and be converted into energy. Instead, this gets wasted and is flushed out of the system.

The symptoms consist of frequent urination, a resultant excessive thirst, hunger and a loss of weight.

These gaps can be filled by drinking plenty of water, eating fresh fruits and vegetables, avoiding carbohydrates and oil and opting for food containing omega-3 fatty acids.

Thus, in order to avoid any further problems, one must take care of the diet, do a regular exercise and take medicines on time.
