Frozen foods help meet daily calorie requirements and induce weight loss.
According to a physician from Loyola University, one can lose weight by eating low-calorie frozen foods. The physician, Jessica Bartfield, MD, internal medicine, also added that frozen meals with only few calories are not only convenient but also help one adhere better and lose weight eventually. Bartfield opines that the best way to lose weight would be to save money, save time and boost intake of nutrition with the help of frozen meals.

Bartfield recommends that people wanting to lose weight consume a low calorie diet i.e. one between 1,000 to 1,800 calories per day. The number of calories must depend on factors such as age, weight, height and gender.
Almost all frozen meals provide somewhere between 200 to 350 calories per meal. This range fits the normal range of calories to be had by someone wanting to lose weight. One may also eat one-two low calorie snacks along with the frozen meals diet.
For those who must consume higher calories, add a few fruits and vegetables to the frozen meals.
