How healthy are we today?

Our present lifestyles don’t support the healthy choices that can help prevent the development of health problems in later years. Today most of us are not getting what health professionals  consider essential for optimum health in terms of diet, exercise or lifestyle habits.


Depletion of nutrition in food, choice of  packaged foods, dependence on automobile transport than walking, our sedentary lifestyle and our busy schedules, that leave us  little time to exercise and to prepare healthy meals. This has created unhealthy conditions like gaining weight and getting sick faster than ever.


Factors that  impact our health are low nutrition in the food we eat, fast food diets those are high in fat and low in nutrition, over processed convenience foods, sedentary lifestyle, pollution,  stress,, certain medications, lack of dietary fiber from fruits, vegetables and whole grains, inadequate intake of  protein in our diet to support  muscles and bones and lack of proper rest.


The dietary factors associated with following four are leading causes of death today - Heart disease,Diabetes,Cancer and Stroke.


The recipe for Health Wellness is balanced diet combined with sufficient water and exercise.  20 minutes of exercise every day can make dramatic change in your body shape and condition.


Muscle mass helps protect bone mass, which is especially important for women. Water plays an essential role in helping our body process nutrients, maintain normal circulation and keep the proper balance of fluids.  Drinking plenty of water is an important part of maintaining a healthy weight. By combining these three keys to daily wellness, you are going to enjoy  the opportunity to feel good day after day.
