Healthy Recipes: Classic Sweetcorn Soup
This is one thing that can never become boring. A classic sweetcorn soup always tops the chinese menu charts and still enjoys a loyal fan-following! Believe it, it's exquisite taste will shock you with an equally simple recipe.
Key Ingredients: 2 minced garlic flakes, ½ cup cornflour, 1 green chilli (finely chopped), 500 mL water, ½ grated ginger, salt as per taste
Side Ingredients: ½ cup boiled corn, 2 teaspoon of basil leaves, 2 teaspoon of mint leaves, 2 teaspoon of parsley leaves, 2 teaspoon of coriander leaves (all finely chopped)
Not much ado about it! Boil 5oo mL water in the pot and add all the ingredients. Stir it continuously. Then, let it simmer for the next few minutes. The soup should give a rich, creamy and a thick appearance. Garnish your soup with the side ingredients and serve! Cooking surely isn't rocket science.
