Healthy Porridge Recipe
Motherhood entails a lot of stress and physical changes. Therefore, during pregnancy one must be extra cautious about one’s diet.
Key Ingredients: 3 teaspoons of sugar, 1 ½ cup soya milk, ½ cup of ready-to-eat oats, ½ cup of dalia, 1 ½ cups of water, ¼ cup of raisins and few chopped cashews, handful of chopped almonds
Let the water boil in a pan. Now, stir in the dalia and the oats in it and keep stirring till it appears to be thick and soft. Next, add the remaining ingredients and let it simmer for another 5 minutes. Serve hot!
Nutri-check: To make it more fun you can have it with hot chocolate cookies! Porridge does not cause acidity and is low in starch.
