What to change in your diet to ease pain in heel

There might be times when you suffer from heel pain and all you can do just massage it and hope it to get better. Massaging could be an option but there are many other ways to ease the pain in heel. Heel pain can be also termed as calcaneal spur, heel spur or planterphasitis, the names are different but all signify pain in heel. Now, all the treatments and cures depend upon the exact cause of the heel pain. The first and fore-most cause of heel pain is wrong selection of shoes. Often people go for extreme flat shoes that lack the comfort and ease of cushion, then there are women who wear extremely pointed heel with about 4 to 5 inches height of heels. Shoes can be the major cause of heel pain but another major cause of heel pain could be arthritis. Arthritis can cause pain in heel and it cannot be curable always. You can always heal the pain in the heels with various home remedies, medications but you might be surprised that your diet can contribute to your healing process. Your diet can be very helpful in easing the pain. You must avoid red meat such as pork meat and beef when you are suffering from heel pain while if you are into meat, you can definitely go for white meat such as chicken and egg white can be very good. Also avoid having beans that are in pulses, like rajma, lobia, etc., you can definitely try grams/ cereals and pulses like green gram and sprouts. You must also increase the amount fiber content in your diet with the skin still on, such as gourd, round gourd, bottle gourd, carrots, radish and coleseed etc. avoid cottage cheese, you must use milk but fatless, skimmed milk.
