In this weather, it is very important to take care of your diet to protect yourself from many health conditions. You should avoid or consume in moderation many of your favourite foods in winter season as well. Therefore, here are 5 unhealthy winter foods that you should avoid: 

1. Noodles 

You might have a good time while enjoying a hot bowl of noodles in this chilly weather. However, they have high amounts of carbohydrates and saturated fat. In fact, due to the high sodium content, you might feel thirsty all the time. If you want to eat noodles, try having it in moderation and not everyday. 

2. Fast food

It is normal to have a fast food craving every now and then. However, this craving can affect your health negatively. Fast foods have a lot of calories and they also have enough amount of fats. Therefore, it is best to have home made food during winters. 

3. Oily food

Oily and spicy food seems very delicious in this weather. However, having oily foods such as pakoda, paratha, samosa, bhatura, etc, can shoot up your weight as well. If you are on a a weight loss journey, then make distance with such oily food items. Instead, try having more of fruits and salads. 

4. Hot chocolate 

Sipping a cup of hot chocolate in winters is considered to be a relaxing, delicious and mood refreshing way. But, you should also know that it has very high sugar content and is better to drink it sometimes and not regularly. Instead of this, you can consume a winter smoothie too. Similarly, many other sugary foods should also be avoided for your health. 

5. Alcohol

Drinking less water in this season is a huge risk of dehydration. On top of that, you should not indulge yourself into drinking too much alcohol. Alcohol increases the level of dehydration in your body. Therefore, avoid consuming alcohol and keep yourself hydrated with water.
