Fragrance that doesn’t go away

We hate to admit it, but sweat patches and body odour are real things. And they are real bad things during scorching-hot summer days. Fancy perfumes might not necessarily leave you smelling fresh and fabulous all day long—especially when you’re out for long hours. So, here are a few hacks that will have you smelling not just good but amazing all day long. Yup, even when you’re far away from a refreshing shower! Image Source: Getty
Apply Vaseline on your pulse points

Yet another use of that handy petroleum jelly pot of Vaseline- rub it on to your pulse points before spraying on your favourite perfume to help it last much longer. Try this tip the next time you know you’re going to be out for long. Image Source: Youqueen.com
Don’t rub your perfume

It is like a universal habit to spritz the fragrance on our wrists and rubbing them together. We somehow believe that the real scent appears when we do that, though nobody has an idea where that came from. By rubbing, you’re making the top notes of your fragrance disappear. Instead, spritz the perfume on your wrists and the back of your neck; just make sure you do not rub. Image Source: Yougueen.com
Stock up on amazing smelling beauty products

The perfect way to start the day on a nice note is to have a fresh-smelling shower gel. It’s not too over-powering and you can top it off with a sweet-smelling moisturiser. You will feel fresh and smell great without being over the top for a day at work. Before you head out in the evening for cocktails, spray on a perfume with similar top notes, for a refreshing and intensified fragrance. Image Source: Static.zetu.co.ke
Apply your fragrance immediately after shower

Applying perfume just after bath helps the moisture to lock in the scent. Plus, spraying on a fragrance when you’re not sweating and are odour-free will help you stay that way for the rest of the day. Don’t wait, because sweat can collect and you’ll just be spraying your fragrance on top of that.
Spritz your bed

For a more refreshing feel, spritz your pillow and sheets with calming scents. It will help you to sleep better and you will smell amazing, even while getting frisky with your partner! Image Source: Wildperfume.com
Keep perfumed sachets in your wardrobe

Easily available, scented sachets are amazing for perfuming all your clothes – even the ones stuffed at the bottom of your closet. Store them in your underwear and sock drawers as well to help you feel fresh as a daisy, no matter what you wear. Image Source: Cologneandcotton.com
Combat foot odour

If your feet smell, it is a huge turn-off, so spray the insides of your shoes with deodorant or sprinkle talcum powder. This will help absorb the sweat and keep your feet fresher and smelling better. Also, try and wear open shoes as much as you can – your feet need to breathe too! Image Source: Getty
