Silent Heart Attack

Heart attacks are more often accompanied by traditional symptoms like chest pain, discomfort, cold sweats and extreme weakness. But, do you know of cases in which people died of absolutely no symptoms at all? In such cases, what took precious lives was a silent heart attack which may or may not show any symptoms. Fatigue

It is the most common symptom of silent heart attack especially in women. The flow of blood to the heart gets reduced when a person suffers a heart attack exerting stress on the heart muscles thereby causing feeling of exhaustion. Discomfort in the Throat, Neck or Jaw

If you experience unexplained discomfort in your neck, jaw or a single tooth or you feel tightness in your throat, it could be an indication of a heart attack. When you notice any of these signs, visit your doctor immediately. Image courtesy: Getty
An Upset Stomach

Should you be worried when you have stomach problems ? Well, in case you did not know that heart attack symptoms can sometimes feel like stomach problems such as nausea, vomiting, or overall gastrointestinal unease you should not be worried. Heartburn

Experiencing heartburn here and then after a heavy lunch is common and there is no need to worry about it. But, if you experience an unusual heartburn, it could indicate a heart attack. Shortness of Breath and Soreness

Soreness in the Back, Arms, or Chest

Preventing Silent Heart Attack
