Reasons for Forgetfulness

Some people can amaze you with their ability to recall and have sharp memory, while others may forget as simple things as what day of the week of it is. Everyone is forgetful sometimes; this can happen when we don’t pay close attention. The causes of forgetfulness can range from tiredness to anxiety-related conditions. (Image source:Gettyimages.in)

Too much alcohol – on a single occasion or over time – can take a toll on your memory. The effects of alcohol interfere with memory even after the effects of alcohol have worn off. If you have to drink, it is best that you do it in moderation. (Image source:Gettyimages.in)

Medications

Unwanted side-effects can be caused by all kinds of medicines. Drug side-effects are sometimes unavoidable; for example, you will be a little forgetful after drinking cough syrup. Anti-depressants and hormone tablets can also affect your memory. (Image source:Gettyimages.in)
Illicit Drugs

If a person is into illicit drugs, he/she might have difficulty remembering and recalling things. These drugs slow one’s brain and make them lazy. And, the two factors make you forgetful. (Image source:Gettyimages.in)
