Inhaling the fumes from heated pepper would stimulate the sinuses.
You may wonder how almonds can help in treating coughs. Well, you will be surprised to know that cough and its symptoms can be relieved by regular consumption of almonds. All you have to do is soak some almonds in water at night. Prepare a coarse paste by peeling and grinding them the next morning. Add some sugar and butter to the paste.
