Clean the Blemish
Pimples keep on arising every time, if you have a popper pimple recently, then first thing to do is to cleanse it properly. Cleansing the face thoroughly can reduce the infection and prevent it from spreading. Use a facial cleanser to wash your face. Do not be too harsh on your skin. Also try to be careful of the pimple, do not pick it of while cleansing your face. You can also do it with cotton ball.
Apply Ice on It
If there is a swelling around it or it is getting red, then apply ice on your face and affected area. It is a technique for cold compress. Red bumps can be evident on your face and make the pimples spread throughout. Hence apply an ice pack or put direct ice on it at regular intervals to reduce swelling and redness. This helps to reduce inflammation caused by popped pimples.
Put Antibiotic Ointment
Popped pimple is like an open would if you let it be, then it may affect other areas of the face as well. An over the counter ointment is always good to tackle popped pimples. Just be aware that the ointment is safe for use and you do not have any allergy from any given substance in it. Ointment can help you treat popped pimple or scab. It increases the healing speed. It also helps to keep the pimple moist so it does not crack up.
Do Not Touch It
Natural way to heal a popped pimple is to let it be. If you keep touching it, it will mess your face. Our body has natural healing techniques and immune system to treat any problem. If you touch or scratch it, then it will take more time to heal. Also it increases the risk of bacterial infections from touching open pimple.
Tea Tree Oil
Tea tree oil is an essential oil which helps to treat most types of pimples. It has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties that aids in healing process and prevents bacterial infection from occurring. Popped pimples can cause redness and swelling on the face because of inflammation, tea tree oil can reduce redness and calms down the swollen region. Tea tree oil is like an ointment and it applies with help of a nozzle directly on the pimple for effectiveness.
Apply honey and cinnamon on the face
Honey and cinnamon both have antibacterial properties and are extremely beneficial for your skin. It can reduce inflammation and boost healing process. Combination of honey and cinnamon should be made and spread it on the face like a mask. This will cool down your skin and eradicate redness from the skin. Honey is effective to treat acnes, hence it can work on popped pimples also.
Apple cider vinegar
Fermented apple cider is a very healthy remedy for skin treatments. Since it is fermented, it has anti-bacterial properties that help to fight bacteria and increase healing of the popped pimples. It contains succinic acid that prevents scars and spots on the skin after the pimple. Lactic acid present in apple cider vinegar is also useful in treating popped pimples and acne scars. It needs to be applied 2 times in a day.
Moisturize Skin with Aloe Vera Gel
Aloe Vera is an herbal plant that has many benefits. It is used in treating pimples, rashes, burns and many other skin conditions. Popped pimples possess redness on the skin and aloe vera gel can help to reduce this redness and aid in treating the pimple. It has salicylic acid and sulphur, both of which are extensively used for treatment of acnes. It is recommended to use pure aloe vera gel extracted from the plant itself for more effectiveness.
Warm Cotton Compress
Warm compress can also be used as an alternative of cold compress in case of popped pimples. In this procedure, take a cotton ball or cotton pad and dip it in warm water. Now squeeze the excess water from it and dab it on your pimples. This will give a soothing effect on the skin, reduce inflammation and help in treating the pimples.
