Fat-burning Yoga Asanas You Can Do in 10 Minutes
Yoga is mostly perceived as a meditative practice, but not something that is as effective a workout as cardio to burn fat. Practicing yoga is great for your mind and soul, and also as an exercise that helps burn fat fast. Take a look at some easy yoga moves that you can do in just 10 minutes.

Vriksasana is one of the easiest and ideal poses for melting away fat from your stomach. Stand on a yoga mat with your legs together. Transfer your weight on the left leg and raise the right leg towards knee of left leg. Place the heel of the right foot on the inner thigh of the left leg and gently raise your hands up straight. Bhujangasana is a pose that strengthens and elongates the stomach, to help you burn fat around the midsection. One has to lie on stomach with the forehead on the ground and hands underneath the shoulders. Lift the body off the floor using abdominal and back muscles. Utkatasana helps strengthen and tone the core muscles (thighs and buttocks). Stand straight with folded hands (in Namaste pose). Raise your hands above the head and bend your knees to get your thighs parallel to the floor. This pose is excellent to tone back, thighs and buttocks. To begin with, stand with your feet together. Raise your hands slowly above your head extending the stretch. Bend sideways from your hips, while exhaling. Hold the pose for 5 seconds before bringing body back to initial position. Do 5 reps. (Image source:Getty images)
Worried about fat accumulated on thighs, buttock and stomach? Veerbhadrasana is the pose for you. To begin with, stand with your feet together and hands by your side. Now extend right leg forward and left leg extended backwards. Bend at the right knee and twist the torso to face your bent right leg. Straighten your arms and raise your body up, away from your bent knee. Thereafter, stretch your arms upwards while tilting your torso backwards so that the back forms an arch.
