Traditional deodorants are designed to tamp down body odor and moisture, but some contain ingredients that could be harmful to your body. They can even change the pH balance to make your pits bacteria-friendly sweat saunas.


Paraben in deodorants may interfere with the way your body produces and regulates estrogen and other hormones promoting the growth of cancer cells.


The metal can cause “gene instability” in breast tissue. This instability can induce changes that may promote the growth of tumors or cancer cells.


Deodorants work in different ways to reduce body odor. They're typically alcohol based. It works by increasing the skin’s acidity.

Blocks Sweats Glands

Sweat is a cooling mechanism that helps us shed excess heat. Active ingredients present in deodorants keep sweat from getting to the surface of the skin by blocking the sweat glands.


People wish to reduce their sweating, which contributes to body odor. To get rid of body odor, deodorants have been in use for years. But it contains some harmful ingredients that could be harmful to your body.
