Ingredients

20 Dates, 100 g butter, four eggs, four tbsp vermicelli, required milk – enough to soak dates, three tbsp Sugar, one-eighth tsp baking soda, and salt.

Soak

Soak the pitted dates in milk, roast the vermicelli lightly, and grind it into powder; finally, set both aside.

Blend it

Blend the soaked dates with milk and butter to obtain a smooth paste, then add the whisked eggs, sugar, salt, and baking powder.

Mix it

Fold all into a single bowl, mixing gently until a smooth, lump-free batter is attained, perfect for cooking.

Heat pan

Heat a greased pan, pour the batter in, cover, and let cook on a very low flame till firm and set.
