Ingredients
Take two cups whole wheat flour, ½ cup finely chopped spinach leaves, one teaspoon baking soda, one and a half teaspoon salt, and ½ teaspoon sugar.
What Else Do You Need?
One teaspoon of oil, one cup curd, a little bit of ghee (clarified butter), and kalonji or sesame seeds.
Preparation
Take a mixing bowl, add palak, flour, salt, sugar, baking soda and oil, and mix until well combined.
Knead
Once the ingredients are mixed, make a hole, add curd in it, and knead the dough properly. Knead until the dough becomes smooth.
Oil
Once the dough becomes smooth, rub some oil on it, cover with a cloth and let it rest for at least 30 minutes. If the dough is not smooth, add a bit of water and knead again.
Divide
After 30 minutes, the dough will rise and become fluffy. Then divide the dough into 6-8 equal parts.
Roll
After dividing the dough into equal parts, take one portion, dust it with some flour, and roll it out with a rolling pin making it into a flat disc shape.
Sesame Seeds
Once the naan is rolled out, rub some water and sprinkle sesame seeds with finely chopped palak leaves.
Skillet
Take a skillet, put some sesame seeds on it and place naan on it once it is warm. Cook both the sides of the naan for a minute on medium low heat.
Ghee and Serve!
Once your naan is ready, apply ghee on one side and serve with your favourite dish.
