Ingredients
Take one cup bajra flour (pearl millet), one cup jowar flour (Sorghum), half cup rice flour, one teaspoon ginger garlic paste, one teaspoon cumin seeds, and coriander powder.
What More Do You Need?
Take half teaspoon turmeric powder, one cup finely chopped spring onion, salt and red chilli powder as per taste, and oil.
Preparation
Take a large mixing bowl and add all the flours, i.e., jowar, rice, bajra flour, and spices, such as ginger garlic paste, coriander, turmeric, salt, and red chilli powder in it.
Prepare Batter
After adding all the flour and spices, mix them well. When mixed, slowly add water to it. Ensure the consistency is flowy and not runny.
Add remaining Ingredients
When you achieve the flowy consistency, add cumin seeds, spring onion, and adjust salt as per taste. Mix thoroughly to avoid any lumps.
Oil
Take a flat bottomed pan and heat some oil in it. When the oil is heated, spread the batter in circular motion on the pan.
Add More Oil
Add a little bit of oil on the sides to make it crisp and flip the cheela in intervals to cook the batter properly.
Ready to Serve!
Once the cheela becomes crisp and golden brown, it is ready to be served!
