Ingredients
One inch of ginger, two pieces of gond/tragacanth gum, one tablespoon of black pepper, one stick of cinnamon, one tablespoon of fennel seeds, three cloves, two cloves of cardamom, two cups of water, one tablespoon of dried rose petals, two tablespoons of black tea leaves, 1-2 cups of milk, and 1-2 tablespoons of jaggery powder.
Grind ingredients
Take a mortar pestle and add ginger, edible gum, black pepper, fennel seeds, cinnamon, cloves, and cardamom. Crush them into a coarse paste.
Boil water
Add water with dried rose petals and the prepared paste in a saucepan. Let the water come to a boil.
Add tea leaves
Now, add the black tea leaves to the saucepan. Let the tea simmer on a low flame for 5-10 minutes.
Add milk
Add 1-2 cups of milk to the saucepan. Simmer the tea for a minute on medium flame and bring it to a boil.
Strain tea
Strain the tea using a sieve and add jaggery powder to the tea. This will enhance the flavour of the tea.
