Ingredients
One cup of raw peanuts, one tablespoon of curd culture, 1-2 cups of water, and lemon juice.
Soak peanuts
Soak the peanuts into water for eight hours or overnight. This will soften the peanuts and will help in easy blending.
Extract peanut milk
Take a mixer and add the soaked peanuts and water. Blend it into a smooth paste until there are no lumps.
Squeeze milk
Now, take the blended milk and pour it into a muslin cloth. Squeeze it well to extract the smooth peanut milk.
Heat the peanut milk
Take a pan and add peanut milk to it. Heat it on a low flame for 2-3 minutes. Stir it continuously to avoid curdling or burning.
Set curd
Let the peanut mik cool down to room temperature and transfer it to an earthen pot. Add one tablespoon of curd culture or lemon juice.
Ferment and freeze
Cover the earthen pot with muslin cloth and refrigerate overnight or 24 hours to ferment. Sweeten the curd by adding honey or vanilla extract.
