Ingredients
Two tablespoons of Shikakai powder or dried shikakai, one tablespoon of amla powder, one tablespoon of reetha, 2-3 cups of water, and a few drops of rosemary essential oil.
Boil Ingredients
Take a saucepan and add shikikai, amla, and reetha with water. Let it boil and simmer at a low flame for 15 minutes until it changes it's colour.
Cool and strain
Let the mixture cool down to room temperature. Strain it using a sieve or a muslin cloth. It will remove extra ingredients.
Add essential oil
Now, and a few drops of rosemary or tea tree essential oil which helps boost hair growth and reduces dandruff. It also adds a natural fragrance.
Store and Apply
Store the rinse into a clean glass jar. Section your hair and gently massage it on your hair scalp. Leave it for 5-10 minutes and rinse with cool water.
When to use?
Use this once or twice a week after washing your hair with a mild shampoo. You can also add coconut oil to this to boost hair growth.
