How To Make Healthy Sweet Potato Chips At Home For Kids?

Sweet potato chips are rich in vitamin A, vitamin C, and fibre. They are low in fat and are gut friendly. It is a healthier alternative to normal potato chips. Tap to read how to make sweet potato chips at home for kids.

Ingredients

Four medium sweet potatoes, two tablespooons of virgin olive oil, one tablespoon of paprika, half a tablespoon of garlic salt, pepper and sea salt according to taste.

Slice sweet potatoes

Start by cutting sweet potatoes into thin slices and soak the slices in cold water for 30 minutes. This will remove the extra starch.

Dry sweet potatoes

After 30 minutes take out the sweet potatoes and pat it dry with paper towels. Preheat the oven at 200°C.

Add spices

Now, season the sweet potato slices with paprika, garlic salt, pepper and seas salt. Toss it with olive oil .

Bake chips

Add the seasoned sweet patato slices on baking tray lined with parchment paper. Bake the chips for 15-20 minutes, uintil crisp from both sides.

Serve

Let the chips cool down from sometime and garish ith dried parsley. Serve this with curd and garlic dip.
