3 ounces of deli meat
2 slices of bread

Side salad with 1-2 TBs of dressing

3-4 ounce of grilled chicken
1 cup of steamed vegetables
A dinner roll with butter

A serving of crackers
One fruit
This sample diet plan has a total of 8 starches, 6-7 protein, 2 dairy, 3 fruits, 4-5 fats and 4 vegetables. One must, however, keep in mind to not eat all the three meals. This meal plan can be used as a maintenance meal plan as this helps a person in increasing the intake so as to restore and regain the lost body weight
