Ask any guy about his favourite look on women, the average dude will tell you he likes a natural beauty. Kissing a face full of powder and foundation is no fun. And nothing is worse than a caked-on face of make-up.

Of course you have been busy and you look tired but those blemishes and uneven skin tone needs to be taken care of. And when in between of a busy week you have to meet your date, you NEED to fake a fresh look-- wearing layers of foundation to hide it just won't do any good.

We get it, and have brought for you some easy tips for fresh, flawless make-up that looks like you are not wearing any make-up at all. So, let’s get started.

Prep Your Skin

After washing your face clean it using your favourite face-wash and apply an oil-free moisturiser. The key to the natural look is working with your skin’s natural colouring. All you need to do is even out your complexion, conceal redness, and create a natural radiance.

Moisturizing the Skin: If your skin is issue-free, apply a tinted moisturizer to even out your skin tone. In case you need more coverage, use a liquid foundation that has a dewy finish. Apply a concealer that will practically disappear against your natural skin tone.

Concealing the Flaws: First apply concealer on any spots or under eye bags. Apply it evenly on the affected area, but not around it. Doing so will create a "halo effect." Remember to choose a concealer that either matches your skin colour or is a shade lighter.

Dusting on the Powder: After this, apply a light dusting of the perfect shade of powder-- for a rosy flush, apply blush only to the apples of your cheeks. Powder will reduce the shine on the forehead and nose by absorbing the oils. Apply only a small amount, and only to the areas that really need it - typically the T-zone, the forehead, nose, and chin.

Blush Blush: Blush is not necessary, but if you are extremely pale or ill, it can make you appear much healthier. A tip often given is to gently pinch the back of your hand or wrist and match the colour of the blush to the colour your skin. Use a light pink or brown blush for a natural look, instead of a bright pink.

Define Your Eyes

Natural eyebrows don’t look pencilled in. Apply a powder that matches your hair colour with an angled brush and blend it with a clean mascara wand or brow brush for a softer look.

Line your upper waterline with a brown, black or gray kohl pencil. Use white eyeliner to highlight inner corners, the centre of your lids, under your brow bone, and on the bottom waterline. Follow it by applying mascara and curling the eyelashes. Don't line the bottom lid of your eyes. Eyeliner there makes you look like a corpse.

For a clean look, stick to light browns, ivories, and pinks and very VERY pale purples. Anything a shade or two darker than your skin tone will look nice as well.

Peach Your Lips

To look fresh and vibrant, it is best to go with lip-gloss in clear, light pink, or brown or bronze. The shade of brown or bronze should not be more than two shades darker than your skin tone. Lipstick may be worn in light pink, brown, or bronze if you desire, but will look much more made up.

Wearing a tinted lip balm will moisturise and nourish your lips while adding a natural-looking touch of colour. Light pinks and skin tones are the best colour to go for.

Lightly dust translucent powder to keep your make-up in place. If you find that you've overpowdered, take a tiny bit of light moisturizer, rub it between your palms, and then lightly press your palms onto your cheeks.

Remember, less is more! Follow these tips to get a naturally flawless glow without piling on products.
