Certain measures to that can help you to treat halitosis include:

  • Avoid foods that cause bad breath
  • Brushing well twice a day (in the morning and before going to bed) and floss daily to remove plaque and food particles. Clean your tongue as well.
  • Clean your dentures well--remove dentures at night and clean it well before wearing it each morning
  • Consult your dentist on a regular basis for dental checkups and cleanings.

If you have persistent bad breath even after taking proper care such as brushing and flossing properly consult your dentist as this could signify a more serious problem.
