Exercise and weight loss can help obese men with erectile dysfunction to add a punch in their sex life, suggests a recent research, which was conducted by Italian researchers. It determined lifestyle changes which aim at a long term reduction in body weight and enhance physical activity which could improve erectile function and endothelial (cells lining the inside of blood vessels) function in obese men.
Experts observed 110 obese men with a body mass index of 30 or more, aged between 35 to 55 years during the study. It demonstrated lifestyle changes, including a reduced calorie diet and increased exercise, improve erectile function in obese men which resulted in about one-third of men with erectile dysfunction regaining sexual function after treatment.
