Toning up with yoga

Use these moves to make your pillars super strong.

 

Virabhadrasana

 

Stand with the legs wide apart. Turn your right foot outwards. Slowly bend your right knee, inhale and raise your arms at the shoulder level. Hold this posture for 30 seconds. Repeat this on the other side.

 

Anjaneyasana

 

Stand with the legs wide apart. Turn your right foot outwards turning your body with your foot. Drop your left knee on the mat and keep your left toes flat on the mat. Inhale, raise your arm upwards, bend your front knee maximum and arch your back. Hold this for 30 seconds. Repeat on the other side.

 

Virasana

 

Stand with your legs wide apart. Turn your right foot outwards. Slowly bend your right knee, inhale and raise your arms up and lean forward. Hold this posture for 20 seconds. Repeat on the other side.

 

Badha Parsovakonasana

 

Stand with the legs wide apart. Turn your right foot outwards and bend your right knee. Raise your arms to shoulder level and bend to the right side and take your right arm back form the front of right thigh. Now, take your left arm back and hold your right hand and turn upwards. Hold this for 20 seconds. Repeat on the other side.
