Every cell in our body depends on water to function properly, yet many of us go through an entire day without consuming a litre of water at least. It may be hard to believe, but you can do wonders to your health simply by consuming the right amount of water. Good health has never been this simpler and cheaper!

How does water therapy work?

Water therapy is simply drinking sufficient quantity of water. By doing this the colon becomes more effective in forming more amounts of fresh blood, which in turn helps get rid of old illnesses and keeps new ones at bay. The functioning of your colon reflects how healthy you are. When your colon receives insufficient exercise, you feel exhausted, become sick, and find it hard to cure yourself. Drinking sufficient quantity of water keeps the colon clean, and a clean colon absorbs more nutrients and produces more fresh blood.

Benefits

The benefits of water therapy are countless. Water is a vital nutrient which can bring about weight loss, relief from stress, glowing skin and leave you feeling fresh and energetic throughout the day. Apart from this, the Japanese Sickness Association found it to be a 100 percent cure for headache, arthritis, epilepsy, BP, constipation, diabetes, anaemia, asthma, bronchitis, hyperacidity, gastritis, dysentery, irregular menstruation, pulmonary TB, eye diseases, cough, piles, meningitis, excess body fat, kidney and urine diseases and ear, nose and throat diseases.

Dosage

So how much water is too much? While ingesting about a liter and a half of water is usually harmless, exceeding this limit can lead to water intoxication, an urgent and dangerous medical condition. It is recommended that when you get up every morning you should drink around one to three large glasses of warm or ordinary water before washing your face or brushing your teeth. Initially it may not be possible to drink such a large amount of water, so start with one glass and go on increasing the quantity gradually.

It is important to keep in mind you that you mustn't eat or drink anything for thirty minutes after drinking water and also avoid drinking water for at least an hour (two hours if you can) before or after breakfast, lunch and dinner.

On the path to recovery….

The Japanese Sickness Association conducted various studies to find how long it took for the benefits of water therapy to kick in. They found that High BP and diabetes was cured in 30 days whereas gastritis and constipation took only ten days to get eliminated. Surprisingly they found that it only took 90 days to cure a serious condition like TB!

Some precationary measures

Old people who have arthritis and rheumatism be warned to undergo water therapy three times a day for one week in order to have full recovery. In general, it is advised to not eat anything before going to bed, especially apples. Water therapy does not cause hindrance to your normal schedule. You can eat and drink whatever you do presently. Even if you do not immediately notice any health benefits, rest assured that there are no adverse effects of water therapy. Experts on water therapy claim that application of the therapy at first will cause multiple bowel movements and increase the number of times you urinate until the body adjusts to the increased amount of fluid. Water therapy is recommended for all sick as well as healthy people, since healthy people will not fall sick and the unhealthy ones will be able to regain their good health. After all, as a smart man once said, 'all sicknesses are caused by wrong eating, wrong drinking, wrong thinking and wrong living'. Let water therapy negate at least one of these vices.

Drinking two litres of water early in the morning, instantly after you brush your teeth, will drive away most of the ailments tormenting you day-in and day-out. Good health has never been this simpler and cheaper. Is not it?
